Noeli

Noeli Cardenas Zamora

Clinical Director, Community Mental Health Hub at Hanna

Noeli Cardenas Zamora is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with many years of clinical experience providing treatment to children and adults in various sectors of the mental health community in both Southern and Northern California. As a licensed clinical supervisor, she has overseen the administration of treatment programs that facilitate clinical services for at risk children, families, and adults. Noeli is a bilingual/bicultural provider with specialized training in the areas of trauma, grief and loss, behavioral analysis, intimate partner relations and Latinx women. Noeli has been an invited speaker in the areas of clinical treatment of children, professional development, and overcoming barriers to mental health recovery. She is a distinguished graduate of Pepperdine University where she received specialized training in the areas of assessment and treatment of Latinx clients. She was also appointed as adjunct faculty at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.

Erminio Carreno, AMFT #145239

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Erminio is a bilingual/bicultural Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. Erminio has been at Hanna Center for six years; he has taken many roles at our center, beginning as a youth counselor, followed by coordinator of residence and caseworker roles. Erminio is a graduate of the Clinical Mental Health Counseling master’s program at Sonoma State University and is working towards getting licensed as a marriage and family therapist. As a Latinx Associate MFT, he is passionate about serving the Spanish-speaking community and helping lessen the fear and stigma of accessing mental health services for all. Erminio utilizes a multi-modal approach to treatment, including psychodynamic talk therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and art/play therapy, based on a person-centered approach. Erminio is interested in furthering his clinical work with adolescents experiencing trauma, families, couples, and adults.
Allie Clifford

Allie Clifford, AMFT #141383

Associate Marriage & Family Therapist

Allie Clifford received her BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder and her MA in Clinical Counseling at Sonoma State University. She completed her traineeship, gaining experience in a community mental health setting working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Allie received training in crisis intervention during her time working on a crisis line, so she has experience working with individuals struggling with difficult life circumstances or uncomfortable thoughts and emotions. She has also worked at a dual diagnosis drug and alcohol treatment center as a case manager, so she has experience supporting individuals struggling with substance use. Allie incorporates what she has learned throughout her experience and training to create a multi-model approach which includes Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. Allie believes that a trusting therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the process. She strives to create a safe space where clients feel seen and heard without judgment so they can explore and process freely.

Fay Hartje gained her early experience in the mental health field by completing her BA in Psychology at Oregon State University and then working with the University of Washington’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Fay graduated with her MA in Clinical Counseling at Sonoma State University where she completed her clinical rotation on a child abuse treatment team involved working with children and families with complex trauma backgrounds. Fay utilizes a multi-model approach to treatment including psychodynamic talk therapy, trauma-focused CBT, art therapy, and nervous system-based applications. Fay works with clients to identify their needs and goals and does so by supporting connection, exploring identity and working to regulate the nervous system.
Alexandra-Hensley

Alexandra Hensley, M.S., AMFT# 140721

Alexandra is a bilingual associate marriage and family therapist with experience working with children, youth, and adults in various community-based and outpatient psychiatric settings in California and South America. She received her BA in Psychology from Universidad de Maimonides in Buenos Aires, Argentina and her MS in Clinical Psychology at San Francisco State University where she completed her master’s clinical traineeship working in community mental health providing services to children and families with complex trauma backgrounds. Alexandra practices an integral approach to treatment often utilizing multiple modalities including relational psychodynamic talk therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy and art and play based techniques as a way to deepen therapeutic work in exploration and expression.
Cindy-Herrera

Cindy Herrera is a bilingual/bicultural licensed marriage and family therapist with over 10+ years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a wide verity of treatment settings, including community-based clinics, psychiatric inpatient units, and juvenile detention centers. Cindy specializes in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) and in the evaluation and treatment of psychosis spectrum disorders. Cindy believes stress is a normal part of life, however we will all manifest stress differently. As therapists, our role is to support individuals increased self-awareness to help them learn their own individualized patterns while creating new helpful patterns that will support them in reaching their goals.
