Jissell Kruse joined Hanna in 2024 and works as a Youth Counselor for the THP 18-21 Women’s program. She grew up in Marin County and now lives in Novato. A graduate of San Diego State University, Jissell earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences, double majoring in Psychology and Women’s Studies.
Her background includes mentoring queer-identifying college freshmen, teaching elementary students after school, and volunteering as a sexual assault response team advocate.
Jissell finds it rewarding to witness the direct, positive impact Hanna has on young lives. She feels this role aligns perfectly with her passion for youth work and counseling, providing opportunities to grow and thrive.
In her free time, Jissell enjoys exploring nature, thrifting, and spending time with friends and family.
