Transform trauma into healing and hope
Transform trauma into healing and hope
Let’s work together to design programs that address the root causes of trauma and mitigate its effects.
When we combine proven strategies with local knowledge and experience, we can develop new, practical solutions that help people heal, share power, and break harmful patterns for good.
Featured Partner Programs
HEAL is a two-hour, eight-session peer support program for high school students run by On the Margins in partnership with Hanna Center with funding from Elevate Youth California and the S.H. Cowell Foundation.
This program gives high school students a space to learn what self-care and community care really mean—and to practice what healing looks like in real life. It’s about showing up as your full self, building connection, and feeling well.
Through the HEAL curriculum, students gain real tools and insights to support their own healing and their communities’. It’s designed to help them grow into leaders who stand up for justice and help shape a more fair and accepting world.
Trauma-Responsive Sonoma (TRS) is a free, virtual training designed to help us better understand how trauma, adversity, and stress affect not just individuals—but entire workplaces and communities. And more importantly, how we can adapt, heal, and thrive together.
Developed in partnership with Sonoma Connect | Sonoma Unidos, this two-part series has already equipped hundreds of Sonoma County residents with practical tools to process trauma stemming from wildfires, the pandemic, and other life-altering events.
