I’ll always be a proud Hanna alum; I’m committed to staying involved and connected with the community that helped shape my future and continues to positively impact my life.
Chandler G., 2015 Graduate
Completing my Patient Care Tech certification at Pima Medical Institute was a game-changer. Despite
initial fears about phlebotomy and IVs due to unsteady hands, I got better all the time with practice. My clinical rotation in the ER at Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital boosted my confidence tremendously.
After a year as a hospice aide, I work as a Patient Care Tech in the ICU at a level-one trauma center. The critical care environment is incredibly rewarding. I’m excited to start my Bachelor’s in Nursing at Pima Medical Institute this fall, and I dream of eventually becoming an MD or specializing in emergency medicine.
But my journey began earlier, at Hanna. They taught me crucial life skills like maintaining a household and developing social abilities. I’m deeply grateful for their continued support since graduating, including the opportunity to apply for a higher education scholarship. I’ll always be a proud Hanna alum; I’m committed to staying involved and connected with the community that helped shape my future and continues to positively impact my life.
