Helen Garrett joined Hanna Center in 2023 and currently serves as Director of Marketing & Community Programming. She holds a BA in Economics and English from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and has built a career in marketing, most recently in the fine wine and spirits industry in Sonoma.
Originally from the Peninsula, Helen moved to Sonoma in 2020 and has embraced the community as her home. She has always been passionate about nonprofit work and has been involved with the California Bluegrass Association since childhood, serving as the director of one of its youth programs since 2018. Her love for hosting and creating spaces for connection drives her work, whether through event management or leading on-campus programming at Hanna Center. She is excited to bring the community together, fostering opportunities for engagement and connection.
In her free time, Helen enjoys reading, solving puzzles, and spending time with her husband, as well as her pet sheep and duck.
