Jonathan Cantu is excited to join the Community Mental Health Center at Hanna as a Community Health Navigator. Having been raised in a Hispanic household by a single parent, he understands the critical role of external resources in supporting families. He is motivated to leverage his accumulated knowledge to ensure that individuals and families do not feel isolated during challenging times.
His background includes several years of experience in the medical field. He has held various positions, ranging from front desk duties at multiple facilities to admissions for treatment centers and case management with Section 8 Housing. He is eager to contribute to and help expand the Center’s Community Health Worker program in Sonoma County.
Jonathan is a first-time father to his young son, Aziel, who has inspired him to infuse his work at the Center with the same dedication and commitment he has learned in being a new parent. He hopes this enlightening experience will foster his personal and professional growth with Hanna Center.
