Allie Clifford

Associate Mental Health Therapist

Allie Clifford received her BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado Boulder and her MA in Clinical Counseling at Sonoma State University. She completed her traineeship, gaining experience in a community mental health setting working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Allie received training in crisis intervention during her time working on a crisis line, so she has experience working with individuals struggling with difficult life circumstances or uncomfortable thoughts and emotions. She has also worked at a dual diagnosis drug and alcohol treatment center as a case manager, so she has experience supporting individuals struggling with substance use. Allie incorporates what she has learned throughout her experience and training to create a multi-model approach which includes Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. Allie believes that a trusting therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the process. She strives to create a safe space where clients feel seen and heard without judgment so they can explore and process freely.
