Maria Jaramillo-Botero is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who brings a bicultural perspective to her work, having immigrated from Colombia. She is committed to advancing mental health equity and reducing ethnic and racial disparities, with a focus on supporting immigrant and other underserved communities.
With over a decade of experience in behavioral health, training, and community engagement, Maria has led Community Health Workers/Promotores programs, facilitated family support groups, and provided psychotherapy across diverse settings. She has delivered Mental Health First Aid and suicide prevention trainings and built strong partnerships with grassroots organizations to expand access to culturally responsive care.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, watching sunsets, and spending time with family, friends, and her cats.
