Bronson K. is a Hanna Center alumnus and current Youth Counselor in the Transitional Foster Age Youth Program. Raised in Belmont, Bronson struggled academically and personally before joining Hanna in 2013. He credits the supportive, nurturing environment at Hanna for helping him turn his academic career around. After graduating from Hanna, Bronson earned his B.A. in Childhood and Adolescent Development from Sacramento State and plans to pursue his M.A. in School Counseling.
Bronson now works with youth aged 16-21 in the foster care system, helping them develop the skills they need to transition into independent adulthood. He’s passionate about supporting young people and preventing the childhood trauma he experienced from impacting their lives.
“I want to help kids avoid the path I went down and empower them to succeed,” Bronson says. He’s proud to give back to the community that helped him become the person he is today.
