Description
The Digital Learning Manager (DLM) will serve as the world-class, behind-the-scenes conductor of engaging virtual training events and a comprehensive asynchronous learning library. This position is perfect for a tech-savvy, creative, and highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment and is inspired to change the lives of youth and families around the world. Reporting to the Director of Outreach and Operations, the DLM will work with a passionate team to provide immersive and inspiring digital learning offerings that continue to position Hanna as a thought leader in trauma-informed and culturally responsive care.
This position can operate fully remote (within CA) or in a hybrid environment from our beautiful campus in Sonoma, California.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital Event Planning and Execution
- Plan and build all live digital learning events on Hanna’s Cvent platform, including the annual summit, industry conferences, and open training series.
- Ensure registration and Attendee Hub are functional, easy to navigate, and well-designed, utilizing existing brand assets.
- Manage execution of all live virtual events, including back-end technical support, staff and speaker event coordination and platform training, and integration with all supporting applications.
- In partnership with the Director of Outcomes and Operations, manage contracts and communications with all speakers, including gathering all speaker information, bios, abstracts, materials, and other information required for a successful event experience.
- Ensure all post-event activities are successfully completed, including analytics review, distribution of Continuing Education certificates and event materials, and management of event recordings for documentation or future use.
- Proactively stay up to date with platform functionality and integrations with additional applications to support Hanna’s operations and data management.
- Work with Director of Outcomes Operations to develop cost assessments and event budgets. Monitor expenditures and evaluate revenue generation and ROI.
Learning Management System
- Drive the successful launch of Hanna’s exciting new Kajabi-based asynchronous learning platform providing on-demand, self-paced courses to learners around the world.
- Serve as subject matter expert and advisor on a-synchronous platform functionality and processes, working with curriculum designers to recommend the best utilization of Kajabi functions in support of engaging and successful user learning experience.
- Act in a customer and user support role to troubleshoot all learning platform-related issues via online chat, email, and telephone communication.
- Proactively stay up to date with platform functionality and integrations with additional applications to support Hanna’s operations and data management.
Collaboration and Evaluation
- In partnership with the Director of Outcomes and Operation, identify a diverse array of knowledge holders and luminaries, including academic, indigenous, clinical, population-specific, and community-based organizations, event speakers, trainers, and facilitators.
- Supervise technology and multimedia vendors to innovate all digital learning offerings.
- Define an event measurement strategy to evaluate event performance, providing post-event analysis tools and recommendations for continual program improvement and return on investment.

- Proven experience creating and executing virtual events that are inspiring and impactful. Experience with Cvent or other virtual event platforms is essential.
- Proven experience overseeing online learning platforms and/or other asynchronous course services.
- Thorough understanding of project management techniques and methods.
- Extremely organized and able to successfully plan and execute digital events with professionalism and calm.
- Ability to develop and implement programs consistent with Hanna’s strategic plan and Institute goals and to ensure that programs effectively address agreed-upon objectives and priorities, operate within budget limitations, and comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
- Ability to continually evolve event offerings based on feedback received or changes in systems, policies, or science.
- Demonstrated willingness to continue to learn and develop personally and professionally.
Comments:
- Must clear background check for a Community Care Licensed facility, including physical, tb and drug test.
- Sit for extended periods of time and the ability to manage repetitive hand/wrist movements while using a computer keyboard and/or the phone.
- Bend, squat, stoop, and walk-up flight of stairs.
- Lift and/or carry up to 20 lbs., occasionally. Duties are primarily performed in an office environment at a desk or computer terminal.
