The Hanna Institute Summit
The Leading Trauma-Informed Care Conference
Each year, Hanna Institute offers the Hanna Summit, an immersive, conference focused on learning and sharing new and proven approaches to trauma-informed care (TIC). Hosted previously in breathtaking Sonoma wine country & is currently available virtually, the event welcomes educators, school personnel, and clinical partners who will hear from leading TIC experts and participate in interactive discussions and exercises focused on healing-centered practices and models of resiliency. Sessions are approved for education (CE) credits for participating. Previous speakers have included Dr. Ibram X Kendi, Resmaa Menakem, Dr. Sandra Bloom, Dr. Kenneth Hardy, & Dr. Julian Ford.
At the 2023 Hanna Institute Summit, we will gather to learn what we can do to support children from birth to age 18 who are homeless, undocumented, or involved in the foster system. We’ll explore real-world strategies you can use to shore up youth weathering the loss of home. We’ll introduce frameworks, share strategies, and hear directly from individuals who have survived such loss first-hand. You’ll leave with skills, competencies, and a community of caregivers for the children you serve.
