This virtual workshop describes everyday communication skills that can be utilized with anyone, anywhere to nurture peaceful crisis resolution as well as detailing more concentrated efforts during an interaction with an agitated individual to de-escalate and support safety.
Substance use remains a deeply concerning and challenging issue for many young people and their families. This webinar-format training will provide a deep understanding as to why adolescents use substances and why these behaviors are particularly challenging from a neurological and developmental perspective.
