Hanna Center Honors Legacy With Annual Scholarship Program For Alumni
Hanna Center comes alive yearly for Scholarship Day, a cherished 70-year tradition celebrating the Sisters of St. Francis Scholarship Program. Our dedicated staff, board members, and alumni unite for this inspiring event where Hanna graduates courageously share their aspirations and seek support for their higher education journeys.
Hanna Academy welcomes students to new residential program
Hanna Academy has enrolled five students from outside the Sonoma Valley area in its new residential program and has received approximately 22 referrals for additional students to participate in it.
Supporting Students in Their Back-to-School Transition
Hanna Academy’s Director of Special Education, Chrissy Brady, has an article published in the August issue of Sonoma Family Magazine. ‘Back-to-School’ tips for kids who may be struggling in school; how can adults help children who may have a hard time at school, get ready to go back to school?

25th Annual Golf Classic
Sonoma Golf Club, 17700 Arnold Dr, Sonoma, CA 95476Join us as we celebrate 25 years of the Classic with a stunningly scenic round of golf held in the Valley’s premier course, the exclusive Sonoma Golf Club. The biggest thing I got out of Hanna was learning how to take time to assess and make choices for my life going forward. I was able to gain mentorship and guidance from the teachers and staff within Hanna, which helped me make big decisions in my life moving forward.

I was with Hanna for five total years, graduating in 2017. During my stay, I was fortunate to have many staff and peers who really believed in me and pushed me to improve. One major skill I learned at Hanna is time management which has helped me be productive since leaving.
Victor Paredes
Idway into his freshman year at Vallejo High School in 2019, Victor Paredes’s mom pulled him out, fearing for his safety after learning he had joined a gang. “My mom wanted me to go to school there so I could be with my sisters,” Victor explains.
