I started my career here at Hanna in March of 1998.
The look of determination on the face of Fernando Marquez says it all, as he drives in the ball for Hanna Center. His dad is in prison, he worries about his mom who has difficulty on her job cleaning houses because of a disability.
We visited Humboldt State University on Friday. The boys were great and very appreciative. After driving 4+hours we hung out on the Arcata plaza and then got on campus for a 3 hour tour. The boys were into the tour and were very focused.
It was four years ago my nephew Dakota was failing in school, getting into fights, fighting with his parents and the rest of the family, and experimenting with alcohol and marijuana.
